CrossFit is an exercise program incorporating, among other routines, endurance exercises, weight lifting, strength and speed training, plyometric and kettlebell exercises.
You’ll never hear anyone say that CrossFit is boring. Unlike workouts that feature one type of repeated movement for a specific duration, CrossFit amalgamates several activities into single workout.
Modern CrossFit training targets every fitness focal point, such as flexibility, endurance, power, speed and cardio.
The best part about CrossFit is that your workouts are never the same. On one day, your workout might involve four repetitions of 30 push-ups, 20 pull-ups, 50 squats and 40 sit-ups. Each of those exercises will be executed consecutively, with a few minutes of rest between repetitions. The next CrossFit workout you have might involve the same exercises, but with variations on repetitions and sets.
